Martha Brass is Chair of England Golf, having been appointed in October 2024 as the organisation’s first female Chair. She previously served on the England Golf Board from 2017 to 2021 as Senior Independent Director, bringing extensive governance and leadership experience to the role.
Alongside her position at England Golf, Martha is a Non-Executive Director of the European Tour, Chair of PGA European Tour Productions, and a Non-Executive Director of the British Golf Association. She spent more than 25 years in senior executive roles within the international television industry, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of BBC Studios Productions, where she led business operations and supported ambitious growth plans across the organisation.
Before joining BBC Studios, Martha held senior leadership roles with Newen Group, Endemol Shine Group, Fremantle and 19 Entertainment. A passionate golfer, she is a member of Guildford Golf Club in Surrey and Eagles Mere Country Club in Pennsylvania, her home state.
