Reena is a parent navigating herself — and her children — through the emotional rollercoaster of golf!
It all began when daughter Eesha picked up a golf club at the age of six and son Anay at four. Little did they know how much the game would shape their family.
For years, Reena was a ‘golf widow’ with absolutely no interest in the sport. But as her children became more skilled and passionate, she found herself spending more time on the course — until eventually, she picked up a club, and fell in love with the game.
Golf has given her a front-row seat to its highs, lows and traditions — including a culture that has to try and adapt and keep pace with the changing world of women and girls in sport.
She is a proud member of The Leicestershire Golf Club, a forward-thinking club that embraces inclusion across all sections.
While admittedly not being a golf expert, Reena is simply learning through experience, challenging barriers, and encouraging more women to give golf a go. Because nothing beats the feeling of a perfect drive or sinking a putt!
