Yvonne is the founder of Women’s Golf Lounge (WGL), a community she started during Covid that has grown to become the UK’s largest Facebook community for women golfers, with more than 21,000 members.
Having played sport all her life, Yvonne is passionate about encouraging more women and girls to play sport. As a mum to a 14-year-old daughter, creating a better future for the next generation is something particularly close to her heart.
WGL is all about bringing women together through golf – whether that's online, at events, on golf trips, or simply helping women find new friends to play with. It's a community built around friendship, support, and most importantly - having fun!
Yvonne is also passionate about equality within golf and would like to see more women represented in positions of influence and decision-making, helping to create positive change for women in the game today and for many generations to come.
