Jo Downing is Programme Strategy Manager at the LTA and has spent more than 17 years creating opportunities for people to get involved in sport. She has led national participation programmes, including Prime Video LTA Youth Girls, which inspired thousands of girls to pick up a racket and start playing tennis.
Through her work with Judy Murray and others, Jo has helped drive efforts to grow and empower the female coaching workforce. As a qualified Level 3 coach and lifelong county player, she is committed to making tennis more inclusive and ensuring women and girls can see a place for themselves in every part of the game.
